Directions
All Merrymeeting games are
played in Topsham at either the Foreside fields on Foreside
Rd. or at the Mt.
Ararat Middle School
field.
To the Foreside Fields:
From Interstate 95
Take exit 31(formerly 24) in Topsham, turn right and
head towards Bath on 196 -- the
Coastal Connector. Stay on 196 and go to the 7th traffic light, about
1.3 miles from the 201 intersection. ( Note:
you will cross route 201 at the 5th light ). Turn left at the 7th
light. The sign will say ' Rt. 24 Richmond, Bowdoinham'. This is a short
road about 50 yards or so, which leads to the intersection with Rt. 24;
turn right here towards Topsham. Immediately get over to the left and
take the first left turn onto Foreside Rd.
Go approximately 1 mile and you will see playing fields. Parking will
be on the right.
From Route 1 North
Get off at the Coastal Connector exit, staying in the
right lane to the traffic light. Turn right at the light.
The sign will say ' Rt. 24 Richmond, Bowdoinham'. This is a short road
about 50 yards or so, which leads to the intersection with Rt. 24; turn
right here towards Topsham. Immediately get over to the left and take
the first left turn onto Foreside Rd.
Go approximately 1 mile and you will see playing fields. Parking will
be on the right.
Foreside Fields
Foreside Fields are across the street from the parking
area. Hillside field is across the street and
up over the hill and through the woods. Riverside Field is down by the
river. Follow the path through the woods.
To the Mt Ararat Middle School Field:
From Interstate 95
Take exit 31 (formerly 24) in Topsham, turn right and

This is the intersection of 196 and 201. Turn left on 201. You'll pass the
entrance to the high school on your right ( about
1/4 mile from the intersection. ) Continue pass the high school entrance to
the middle school entrance. It will be on the right about 1/3 mile
pass the high school entrance. Parking will be on the right.
From Route 1 North
Get off at the Coastal Connector exit, staying in the
left lane to the traffic light. Continue through two traffic lights
to the intersection of route 201. Take a right on 201. You'll pass
the entrance to the high school on your right ( about
1/4 mile from the intersection. ) Continue pass the high school entrance to
the middle school entrance. It will be on the right about 1/3 mile
pass the high school entrance. Parking will be on the right.

There are lots of ways to get to L/A:
From Topsham: take route 196 (by the Topsham Mall) to Main
St. in Lewiston,
(Route 202/100).
From Bowdoin/Bowdoinham: Sabattus St., route 126,
to Main St.
Take a Left on Main St.
towards Auburn. After
the bridge over the river, you are in Auburn on Court St. Stay on Court
St. at the intersection where 202 turns off and go through the light up
the hill — still on Court St. The Middle School is about 1 mile on
your right.
Take a right into the school area and then your first left, which goes
around the school. The fields are out
behind the school (through the gate).

Bath

Tainter Field
|
Take Route 1 to Bath; get off on Congress Ave. exit at
bottom of hill as you approach the city; make a right off the exit; make
your next right onto Congress Ave. (back over Route 1);
Go approximately 1 mile to field complex on left; turn left into parking
lot before tennis courts; proceed to the back of the lot - Tainter Field is behind the blue storage buildings at
the end of the parking lot.

Take 95 south to exit #16; take a left onto route #1
south. In about 1 mile, turn on to Tuttle Road; take a left to get
to Tuttle Road which goes over rourte #1, then
take a right (onto the overpass over route #1) and on to Tuttle Road.
Go about 1 mile on Tuttle Road
and then look for large open Fields and Soccer Fields on the Right.
This is Twin Brooks. (Note: The speed limits are enforced on Tuttle
Road.)

Take 95 south to exit 20 Freeport.
Turn left towards Freeport.
At the light next to McDonalds, turn left onto rte. 1 north. In about a
half mile turn left. There should be a little sign for the school at the
intersection. The school and field are at the end of this road next to
the highway.

Gray

Gray High
School

Take 95 south to Yarmouth
exit, route #1, watch for route #115 (appx. 1
mile). Take right onto route 115.
Take 115 from Yarmouth to
Gray. (Note: 115 take a sharp left where it splits from 231, about
4-5 miles from Yarmouth)
When you come into Gray take the right fork in the road towards
route#26. Go straight at the intersection of route 202 on route
26. [If you take the left fork by mistake,
you will still hit route 202 in a block or so. Take a right on 202
and then a left on 26.]
In a couple of miles, you will cross over the Maine turnpike. A half mile past the turnpike,
look for a public works building and a
left hand turning lane. Take a Left and
look for the High School on the right.
The soccer field is behind the High School.
